The greed of this scam is shocking, to say the least...
first, they have a great product; The Acai berry is a valuable dietary supplement, and having learned this a few weeks ago, I was interested in their offer when it showed in my inbox.
I expected to pay a premium, but hoped that buying bulk might save me a few bucks...Fat Chance!
The offer states that you can have a "Free trial bottle", if you pay just $3.99 shipping... OK, so I'll have to agree to monthly shipments, right? Again, Fat Chance!
Dropping down to the "terms" link, I found that agreeing to take the "Free" trial bottle was inadvertantly agreeing to a $130 monthly charge for; 2 bottles at $89 per month, membership in some useless "buying club" at $9/month, membership in some pointless "fitness club" at $30/month
You know by now how I feel about the "Buying Club" scams...it doesn't get much lower than these hacks... ...and the "fitness club" nonsense is nothing more than a website subscription...at $30 a month!
I would have accepted a subscription for the supplements...
...but, Come on...A Hundred and Thirty Dollars a Month?!
These guys are just begging for chargebacks...and they deserve to be flooded with enough of them to lose their merchant account.
Greed is running rampant in this country...and this Acai berry "free trial" offer is just another example.

For comparison's sake, drop by one of the larger vitamin wholesalers, such as my favorite: Vitacost Vitacost.com-Acai berry extract A good and popular Acai berry extract dietary supplement, this product sells for $11. Taking 2 per day, that's a 60-day supply...How's your math..? That's $5.50 a month. Five Dollars and 50 cents compared to Ninety Bucks a month!...now, That's what I mean by shocking levels of greed.
