Similar to the Google AdBox (above) program, but with less competition;
Google places your ad on targeted pages*, along with a few competitor's ads... Exactseek places your ad-box at the top of their results page Only when a search for your chosen keyword(s) has been initiated.
Far more cost-effective than most PPC engines (Pop tested a few during their infancy stages with mixed results...), A Prime Adbox is a fixed fee of $12 per keyword for 3 months, or $36 per year (each keyword/ad).
ExactSeek has been a major engine for many years, and their partnerships with other Top 100 engines/directories, in my opinion, justify the risk.
Testing includes Three Keyword Boxes @ 3 months each, and 2 Key-phrases for One year each.
The 3 short-test keys are in the Top 100 search terms, and the 2 long-term keys are in the Top 50.
Results will follow.
*I've noticed after caryying the Google box here for a while, that the ads are not too targeted...and too often seem random, considering the content of the page they are dispalyed on.
