Test run begun: 03/21/04 Deposit: $60. Test ad: Free Cellphones aff site>avg PPC H-S rate: 6% >avg free H-S rate: 2% >avg aff buy rate: 60% (applies to "make money" key) Keys - Bids: cellphones - .06 (target=index) cellular - .05 (target=deals) make money- .07 (target=affiliates) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Kanoodle has a significant amount of collective traffic from various partner engines, and the recent deal with MSNBC.com makes them a serious traffic source...but is it quality, buying traffic? After a week, they've sent over 900 uniques which isn't bad, but only 1 single sale. Based on past experience with this tester, the expected ratios weren't even hinted at by Kanoodle's traffic...and is disappointing compared to previously tested PPC sites, and to be honest; I've gotten easier sales from free ads, backed by a few manual subs. Bottom Line: Kanoodle delivered traffic; Quickly, and steadily. Window shoppers outnumbered the actual cash-in-hand buyers by a long shot, making this test a failure by my standards. During initial testing of the Free Cellphones site, I got over 1500 uniques in 4 days using only free resources...and the Hits-to-Sales ratio (H-S) after 7 days averaged 4% without effort. I consider the deposit wasted money, and Kanoodle a waste of time. Sorry Kanoodle: This isn't a popularity contest...just the truth. Thanx for your time, Pop.
